Samuel Lloyd

Lloyd, Samuel of Weston, Democrat, was born at New York City on September 8, 1925 and became resident of present town in December, 1960. Occupation: retired owner of Weston Bowl Mill. He was educated in elementary schools in Connecticut and Lawrenceville, New Jersey High School. Member of: Forest Resource Advisory Council, first chairman; former chairman, Governor’s Task Force on Wood as a Source of Energy. He has been Weston Town Moderator, 35 years; former chairman/member, Weston Planning Commission, 1969-76; Zoning Administrator, 1970-76; He served in the U.S. Marine Corps, 1943-46, 1950-51. Member of the House from District 27 for 1973-74 and from Windham-Windsor-1 for 1975-76, 1977-78 and 1979-80.
