Harvey Carter
| Carter, Harvey of Corinth, Democrat, was born in New York City on November 2, 1938 and moved to Bennington in 1964. He is a graduate of Williams College, Williamstown, Massachusetts, (B.A., 1960) and Duke Law School Durham, North Carolina (J.D., 1963). He was formerly a member of the law firm of Witten and Carter, P.C., with offices in Bennington and Manchester and has been a sole practitioner from 1988 to present. He is married, has two sons and he and his wife run Maryella Farm in Corinth. Member of the House, 1969-70. Member of the Senate, 1985-86, 1987-88. |
